Breeze Pointe Community Docks
Hardin County, Tennessee
On April 15, 2008, TVA issued a finding of no significant impact for the construction of community boat docks requested by the Breeze Pointe & Home Owners Association at Upper Anderson Branch Mile 0.4, on the north shore of Pickwick Reservoir, Tennessee River Mile 208.5, in Hardin County, Tennessee. Breeze Pointe proposes to construct two floating community boat docks accommodating a total of 14 boats. These docks would be adjacent to a previously constructed 12-boat community dock and previously dredged boat access channel.
The two community docks require approval by TVA under Section 26a of the TVA Act and approval by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) under Section 10 of the Rivers and Harbors Act. TVA cooperated with the Corps in the preparation of an environmental assessment of the proposed facilities. TVA has adopted this environmental assessment.
