Calendar of Public Events

A federal program called Conversations With America is designed to encourage public comment on how to improve government services to citizens. The following monthly calendar lists meetings that provide forums for public questions and comments.

Little River Water Quality Forum Meeting

November 19, 9:00 – 11:00 a.m. EDT

Alcoa Water Treatment Plant

Quarterly meeting held on updates to water quality improvement activities and programs currently being conducted by members within the Little River Watershed which crosses Blount, Sevier, and Knox Counties. TVA is a member and currently facilitates group meetings.

Strategies for Quality Growth

November 18, 8:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. CDT

West Tennessee Region, final location to be announced.

TVA’s Growth Readiness Program, in conjunction with the Southeast Watershed Forum is hosting a day-long Quality Growth workshop. These sessions target planners and engineers with information and tools to guide growth to reduce impacts on a wide array of community resources, such as water and air quality. TVA is sponsoring these workshops will have a speaker at each session.
